HOW DO WE GET READY FOR A NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH?

The Mission.

This e-commerce business was in the process of delving into completely new territory.

Our quest became to help better engineer the 180° turn from office supplies to van life accessories.

The first month was spent on complete research. We did everything we could to get to know everything about the company, their goals, their products, and especially, their market.

This research came in the form of many Zoom meetings with pages and pages of heavy notes (shown below).

Next, we put more pieces of the puzzle together by analyzing the opportunity and examining the market.

STRATEGIZING PHASE.

We then created a marketing strategy tailored towards a new product launching. We did this by understanding their business goals, assessing their current marketing strategy, and providing suggestions for progress and growth.

Included in the marketing plan were: software recommendations for content automations, initial market research overview, value propositions, rough action steps, partnership examples, and key performance indications.

The rest of the process included building systems and creating content for a solid online social media presence.

The systems we built created more efficient posting schedules for our client, and easier industry monitoring.

We also helped to build brand voice and messaging. This was essential to differentiate the product in the market and make them stand out. This included colour scheme suggestions, crafting a mission statement, and developing the brand tone out.

Finally, this would translate to creating content based off of heavy research. This content was made to be used for Instagram and Facebook, including product, promotional, and competition posts.

 

OUTCOMES ACHIEVED.

By the end of the contract, we were able to help them:

  • build a solid marketing plan for them to take action on.

  • develop a high-level understanding of their target market, industry, and product landscape through in-depth research.

  • prepare 63 social media posts worth of content including targeted posts with strategic aims ranging from promotional, informational, and educational posts.
